Senior Accountant

Vice-President, Sales at ViscoTec America Job Title: Senior Accountant Assigned to: CEO ViscoTec America Inc., based in Kennesaw, GA, is part of the international ViscoTec Group, a leader in precision dispensing and dosing systems used in aerospace, automotive, electronics, and life sciences. Key Responsibilities Manage AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, fixed assets, and month-end close. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP. Maintain and reconcile Sage 50 and support ongoing ERP improvements. Lead, prepare and support documentation for internal and external reviews and audits. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal management reports for the US and Germany. Serve as main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. Payroll & Financial HR Compliance Process bi-monthly payroll in coordination with the Administration team. Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reports. Oversee payroll tax accuracy and compliance with support from our payroll provider. Maintain data accuracy and workflows in the HRIS/payroll system. Support banking and payment processes in collaboration with the headquarters’ finance team. Process & System Improvements Drive improvements in accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls. Support ERP and reporting enhancements as the organization grows. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-size company or international environment. Strong audit experience (internal audit, external audit preparation, or audit coordination). Hands‑on experience with Sage 50 (Peachtree); experience with modern ERP solutions preferred, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365. Experience with payroll processing, payroll accounting, and payroll reconciliations (ADP, TotalSource). Experience with Online Banking Solutions. Strong understanding of US GAAP and month‑end close processes. Excellent analytical and organizational skills; proactive approach to improving processes. Clear and confident communication skills; ability to work with local teams and global colleagues. German language skills are a plus but not required.
