Branch Skilled - CNC Lathe 1st and 2nd shift

Position Title: CNC Lathe Set Up Operator - 1st or 2nd Shift Wage: $22.00 - $35.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 11:00pm Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance Perform tool changes, offsets and basic program edits as needed Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make necessary adjustments Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members, supervisors and quality personnel to meet production goals Requirements High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience operating CNC lathe machines (setup experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and materials Experience with measuring tools and quality inspection processes Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs Manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
