Medical Assistant II – Primary CareCompany: Vera Whole Health Location: 1150 Powder Springs St, Suite 50, Marietta, GA 30064 Schedule: Mon–Thurs: 7:00am–4:30pm Fri (rotating): 7:00am–1:00pm Sat (rotating): 8:00am–12:00pm Pay Range: $20–$25/hr Experience Required: 1–2 years experience as a Medical Assistant requiredAbout the Role Vera Whole Health is seeking a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant II to support our busy primary care clinic with three providers. This role offers a blend of clinical and front-office responsibilities, providing hands-on patient care while ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll rotate between back office and front office duties, support patient flow, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signsPerform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collectionAssist with physicals and occupational health servicesSupport medication refill workflowsMaintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipmentProvide patient education and ensure a welcoming, supportive experienceRotate between clinical and administrative dutiesCheck patients in/out and verify insuranceSchedule appointments and manage patient flowHandle phone calls, messages, and patient inquiriesSupport providers with documentation and follow-up tasksWork closely with providers in a busy primary care settingSupport internal medicine, urgent care, and occupational health workflowsMaintain compliance with infection control and safety standardsQualifications1–2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, or occupational health preferred)Phlebotomy and injection experience requiredStrong customer service skills and patient-centered approachAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinicEMR experience; Athena experience is a plusBilingual in Spanish is a plusCertification not requiredBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)13 paid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Compensation Range: $20.00 to $30.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
