RN - Med Surg Shift Details: Shift 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Shifts Per Week: 4 Scheduled Hours: 48 Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 Week(s) Job Description: Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Description: No locals within 100 mile radius Must be able to passfacility background check. *No RQI Certs* MOAB certification is required, if the traveler does not already have the MOAB certification, they will receive the 4 hour de escalation course during their first week. If they do not pass; their contract may be up for cancellation. *COVID Vaccine: optional- UNMH is required to report COVID vaccine numbers. Upload series or Aya declination The facility capacity is approximately 1900 inmates, the average daily population fluctuates, currently daily average population is 1640. We have different areas, so it is hard to say how many patients are seen on average. The RN will provide patients with routine and emergency healthcare. The RN will conduct health assessments, make necessary referrals to providers, detoxification, dental, mental health professionals. The RN will be responsible for triaging and assessing new patients to the facility, conducting detox rounds per protocol urgent care and sick calls in the pods.
