As a full-time CNA at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Meridian, Mississippi, you will support residents' comfort, safety, and daily functioning while helping the care team deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting routine observations, responding promptly to call lights, supporting mobility and transfers, and maintaining a clean, respectful environment in accordance with care plans and facility standards.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Current CNA certification (state requirements)
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively on a team
- Reliable attendance for 7a-7p schedule
- Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality

A Shift in Rhythm

You'll arrive, get report, and organize your priorities for the unit. Throughout the shift, you'll coordinate with nurses and therapy staff, communicate updates respectfully to residents and families as needed, and keep documentation current. Expect steady movement between rooms, purposeful rounding, and frequent teamwork to keep the day on track. The pace can change quickly, so you'll stay calm, adapt, and close out the shift with a clear handoff to the next team.
