Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit located in Golden, Colorado. This position involves providing advanced nursing care to patients requiring a higher level of assessment and monitoring than standard medical-surgical units. The role demands performing independent nursing functions, executing medical procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, three shifts per week, with weekend requirements, and minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), a minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a registered nurse in a step down or acute care setting is preferred.
• Skills & Certifications: Nursing Care, Health Assessment, Health Teaching, Health Counseling, Therapy and Treatment Planning, Medical Functions Execution, Patient Referral, Monitoring Therapy and Treatment Plans, Documentation, Resource Utilization, On-Call Availability, Floating to Other Departments, Mission Promotion.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs; on-call during scheduled shift may be required.
