Description Senior Medication Aide – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full time day shift position. Hours are 7am-7:30pm (3, 12 hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays. Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year Provides accurate medication administration and observes residents for drug reactions and manages medication processes, procedures, storage, and the medication room. Acts as Subject Matter Expert in knowledge of drug interactions, medication management, and medication administration.
