Job Description Summary:

\n

This position leads the strategic vision, smooth operations and the overall success of the balanced scorecard, including the planning, organizing, staffing and establishing control systems for Radiology, Cardiovascular Services. He/She develops and administers operating and capital budgets and performs other project work, as assigned. This position will work closely with hospital Medical Directors to ensure physician alignment and satisfaction within OhioHealth.\n

\n

Responsibilities And Duties:

\n

25% Daily operations Responsible for the success of overall operations of the Radiology department, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Care. Works directly with managers to ensure balanced scorecard metrics are met on a consistent basis. 24/7 responsibility for all areas of responsibility. Develops and administers operating and capital budgets, in partnership with appropriate management.\n
\n
\n25% Strategic planning and execution Responsible for development of an overall strategic plan for the Radiology, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Care. Works directly with executive leadership, physicians, leadership team and associates to recognize opportunities for growth. Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and internal customers. Develops/maintains metrics to ensure success as anticipated.\n
\n
\n25% Responsible for career development, coaching, and mentoring management and staff-level associates. Fosters and supports staff-level development.\n
\n
\n10%: System responsibilities Responsible for system initiatives as related to Radiology, Cardivascular and Respiratory Care.\n
\n
\n10%: Physician Relationships Works collaboratively with all appropriate Medical Directors to promote positive relationships with physicians. Responsive to physician concerns regarding operations and patient issues. Works directly with the physicians to collaborate on goals, metrics, new technology, etc.\n
\n
\n5%: Accreditation Responsible for maintaining current accreditations such as ACR, ACOS, NAPBC, IAC, The Joint Commission and others as deemed appropriate.\n

Master's Degree (Required)\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree

\n

Field of Study: Health or Business Administration

\n

Years of experience: 5 yrs. management experience preferred

\n

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

\n

Knowledge of Imaging modalities, Cardiovascular Services and Respiratory Care preferred.

\n
\n

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

\n

Current ARRT registration. Over 10 years of experience in hospital operations. Knowledge of general information systems; accounting, finance, statistical process control expertise and organizational psychology. Additional years at any of these levels and prior experience in a similar position.
