Role Overview

The Aeroderivative Engine Operations Engineering (AEOE) team drives GE Aerospace's Aeroderivative and Marine Products strategy, managing safety, engine configuration, installation integration, customer qualification, maintenance planning, field investigations, and test objectives, while advancing next-generation products through sustainable technology insertion.

The Senior Delivery Leader will provide systems technology leadership for the AEOE family of legacy engines by partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic and tactical deliverables with a direct focus on production and manufacturing flow, including delivery and continuous improvement. This Individual Contributor leadership role will collaborate closely with engineering section leaders to execute programs robustly and on schedule while balancing system-level risk against customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide deep engineering-process expertise and a proactive, collaborative mindset to work effectively across the Chief's office, Design Boards, Project Management, Product Support, and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate systems and design integration to deliver balanced design solutions informed by field experience and best practices.
• Lead technical execution across development, production, and field support.
• Lead Value Engineering (VAVE) events for assigned hardware and processes to convert producibility, cost, and cycle-time opportunities into qualified design and manufacturing solutions.
• Develop and standardize engineering production support processes with adjacent organizations.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with external organizations, building trusted relationships.
• Integrate internal team efforts with customers and partners to deliver optimal technical solutions.
• Negotiate and influence stakeholders to define and deploy technical and commercial solutions.
• Influence major product line decisions and long-term strategy, balancing business and customer needs against technical and budget constraints.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration, driving continuous improvement through application of Lean (FLIGHT DECK) methodologies.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cycle time for resolving delivery challenges and streamline engineering processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry and/or turbine power generation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engine systems and/or design engineering

This role will require in-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
• Multidiscipline technical expertise, including mechanical design and systems integration experience
• Hardware ownership or hands-on engineering experience
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experience leading or facilitating Value Engineering (VAVE), Kaizen, or producibility-improvement events
• Demonstrated talent development, mentoring, and coaching ability
• Experience leading teams, including indirect reports
• Strong horizontal collaboration and stakeholder-influence skills
• Highly motivated and passionate, with exceptional communication skills
• Proven ability to execute large, complex programs

The base pay range for this position is $ 167,000 - $223,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close by September 28, 2026.
