Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images are obtained
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
