Primary duties include driving sales and profit, team building, creating customer loyalty, and implementing company standards.Store Manager Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain regular and predictable attendanceUphold and promote a safe and productive work environmentDrive sales and profit including but not limited to driving top line sales, creating and modeling behaviors to support a culture of selling, expense control, profit/loss management and customer serviceBuild the store team including but not limited to partnering with HR in regard to hiring/staffing decisions, team member retention, managing schedules and payroll, training and development, succession planning, performance reviews and counseling and maintaining a safe in productive work environment.Execution of WCTractor standards as they relate to standards/processes, inventory management, freight movement, pricing/promotional activities, loss prevention, audit compliance and planning and delegation of daily tasks.Store Manager QualificationsStore Manager QualificationsMinimum requirements for the store manager position include:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum two years retail leadership experience. In Brenham, Washington County Tractor, Inc., WCTractor, and WCT Outdoors sell a variety of agricultural, construction and lawn and garden equipment, utility vehicles and trailers. In Bryan, Navasota, Sealy, Temple, Dayton and Beaumont WCTractor locations provide these same products. Since 1939, a number of local families have owned and operated the business, including the Cades, Kankels, Quinns, Koehnes, Jensens, and now Wackmans.
