Nurse Practitioner - West Valley City, UT

Nurse Practitioner - Full-time Location: West Valley City, UT Required Qualifications:
- National Certification from an accredited school
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care Nurse Practitioner/APRN role
- Experience providing primary care to a pediatric and adult population
- Current National Certification and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
- License to practice independently in Utah
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Spanish
- EPIC personality (empathy, patience, integrity, and compassion)
- Delivering pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric healthcare and patient management
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing and in some cases, dispensing medications
- Educating patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications
- Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions
- Recording medical histories and conducting physical exams
- Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Operating basic medical equipment and instruments
- Performing minor procedures such as suturing, casting, and other minor procedures
- Attending events in the community for new patient acquisition and growth
- Adhering to all HIPAA protocols, clinical guidelines, and company policies and procedures
- Participating in team meetings, education conferences, and special projects
