Unit Name: 7 Tower

Shift Type: Night Shift

General Information

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds :33

· Patient Ratios :5:1

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge nurse, RN's, Techs, Secretary

· Type of equipment :

· Documentation system: Meditechs

· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend but will accept requests offs and work well with scheduling and special requests

· Floating policy: travelers take turns floating when needed.

· Patient Experience requirements: White Boards filled out.

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: BLS

Must have : Basic med surg knowledge

Advanced skills needed:

Procedures performed on unit: regular med/surg area

Certifications Required: none

Dress Code : (Required uniform)

· Navy blue, black, royal blue, or any color gray scrubs
