This role ensures a secure, fair, and standardized testing environment by assisting with candidate check-in, monitoring exams, enforcing testing protocols, and maintaining strict confidentiality. The Test Proctor works closely with staff to deliver high-quality testing services while upholding all institutional and regulatory requirements.Summary of Responsibilities:* Assist staff with the academic and professional test registration, administration, and record keeping for paper-based, computer-based, and internet-based exams (university, national, state, local, and Prometric testing).* Provide scheduling and check-in support, including verifying identification, collecting biometrics, and capturing photographs of students and candidates as required for exam admission.* Escort candidates to designated testing rooms and collect all testing materials upon exam completion.* Monitor testing environments to ensure security, including use of security wands and operation of electronic/digital surveillance systems.* Support opening and closing procedures, including preparation of testing materials and clean up of testing labs.* Report and document any breaches of testing security and uphold confidentiality policies in accordance with federal, state, university, departmental, and testing agency requirements.* Maintain strict confidentiality of all examinations administered and stored within the Testing Center.* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.**Explore Living in Palm Beach County**Florida Atlantic University has six different campuses.
