This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down specialty. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Neuro unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Requirements: MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required. MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand. AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
