Job Summary And Responsibilities As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will provide essential support to pharmacists, ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications to patients. Each day you will process prescriptions, compound medications, manage inventory, and assist patients while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, strong organization, and a patient-focused demeanor that contributes to safe medication practices and excellent patient care. Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations. Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support day‑to‑day department operations. Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels. Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices. Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains appropriate documentation. Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation, including all regulatory and compliance requirements; may include preparation and handling of hazardous/chemotherapy medication if applicable. Job Requirements High School Graduate or GED Six months of compounding IV medication Pharmacy Technician: AZ Certified Pharmacy Technician (ECPT or PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician (universal designation) Pay Range $19.96 - $28.19 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
