• Foresight over Expedience: During the very first call, you realize the prospective client is intensely focused on "punishing" their ex, which conflicts with our mission. You could book the sale immediately, but instead, you choose to spend extra time gently redirecting their focus toward long-term peace and co-parenting stability, ensuring the client we onboard is truly aligned with firm values and reducing conflict down the line.
• Proactive Communication: The new client hires us. Instead of just sending a boilerplate Notice of Appearance, you take five minutes to pick up the phone and introduce yourself to the opposing paralegal or counsel. • Constructive Communication: Three months in, you are reviewing a case summary. You notice a phrase that unnecessarily criticizes the opposing party's personal life.
