Location: Joplin, Missouri

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation:

Local Rate: $1,400 - $1,620 weekly
Traveler Rate: $1,700 - $1,900 weekly

Schedule:

Day Shift
3 x 12-Hour Shifts

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The RN will manage medically complex patients requiring extended recovery, including those with chronic and critical conditions.
Requirements

Active Missouri RN License required
BLS (AHA) Certification required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

Wound Care and Specialized Treatments
Patient Monitoring and Assessment
Emergency Response and Critical Thinking
Care Plan Development and Implementation
Discharge Planning and Patient Education
Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
Accurate Clinical Documentation

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical needs
Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
Monitor patient status and respond to changes or emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding care and recovery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Support discharge planning and continuity of care
