SimIS is currently recruiting for the listed position and this position is 100% "Onsite".Job Description: The ideal candidate is responsible for independently executing software design and development tasks. Is capable of leading and working as part of an agile team to design, implement and revise software applications. Writes sleek, performant code in a manner consistent with the team's style and best practices. Collaborates with clients and stakeholders in the development of requirements. Stays abreast of the "state of the art" through self and group study. Acts as a mentor to junior staff. The ideal candidate is responsible for design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, integration and implementation of systems in support of the warfighter. The candidate will be responsible for developing application software, debugging and testing application code, coordinating with the development team, constructing test cases, assisting with software documentation, learning new technical tools required for the role, and complying with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.
