Job Description Job Description Sanitation Associate Pay Rate: $20.27/hour Job Type: Temporary Location: Colonial Heights, VA Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 8:00 PM – 5:30 AM Staggered start times may apply, with some team members beginning at 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM. Job Summary Qualified Staffing is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Sanitation Associates for a manufacturing facility in Colonial Heights, VA. This role is ideal for individuals with previous industrial sanitation experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing equipment and maintaining a safe, clean facility environment. What You’ll Do Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble manufacturing equipment and accessories Operate pressure washing equipment using foam cleaning and sanitation methods Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation solutions Perform deep cleaning of production areas, machinery, and plant floors Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with company and safety guidelines Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure sanitation requirements are met Follow proper lockout/tagout and safety procedures while cleaning equipment Work effectively with production and maintenance teams to support operations Complete sanitation tasks within scheduled production timelines Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform all other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Previous manufacturing or industrial sanitation experience required Ability to work in cold environments around 30 degrees required Comfortable working around industrial equipment and cleaning chemicals Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work overtime and a flexible staggered schedule as needed Why Work With Qualified Staffing?
