Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients with conditions such as Sepsis, ARDS, and Pneumonia
• Interpret EKG strips and utilize arterial and central lines
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardioactive medications
• Care for ventilated patients and troubleshoot related equipment
• Collaborate with intensivists and support staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Proficiency in titrating vasopressors and care of ventilated patients
