The goal is to help senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We travel to the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland, and Davis. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance. Shift needs include all days of the week (Monday to Sunday) for AM/PM and overnight (NOC). Required Skills Experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, and Slide Board. Essential Responsibilities Assists with dressing/grooming. Assists with ambulation and transfers. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. Accompanies patients on errands or medical appointments. Performs light housekeeping activities.Reminds patients to take medication. Provides care for bed-bound clients. Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards, and Hoyer lifts. Provides companionship. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
