Job Description Location: Richmond, VA Salary: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 (Posted 10 hours ago) Required Skills & Experience High school or GED equivalency 1-2+ years as an installation technician supervisor or 5+ years in the field as a senior technician with data center experience within electronic security realm Nice to Have Skills & Experience Lenel certificate and AVIXA CTS experience on large commercial or federal projects as supervisor/PM Job Description / Responsibilities Leads and delegates tasks to install crews, subcontractors, and union trades; may be required to regularly lead a team on large projects. Verifies all work complies with clients QC standards; oversees field operations in situations without a dedicated on‑site superintendent. Reads and understands functional design drawings and cable riser diagrams. Provides a consistent level of technical oversight while maintaining schedule flexibility; may require periodic overtime, including weekend work to meet client deadlines. Able to complete assignments within or better than established task durations and estimate task durations to meet assigned deadlines; provides daily feedback to field site supervisor and/or direct manager. Tracks and maintains personal toolkit, company vehicles, and installation materials inventories; keeps records clean, orderly, and well documented. Checks in drop‑shipped items and maintains on‑site materials needed by the crew; works with the PM to assure timely delivery of on‑site equipment and materials. Maintains personal licenses, certifications, and qualifications; some states have specific requirements in this area. Maintains a daily record of time worked on specific projects for timesheet entry and an employee/contractor information log to share with management.
