The Madras Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency serving the City of Madras through patrol operations, investigations, traffic enforcement, emergency response, and community-oriented policing. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications established through Public Safety Testing, including: Must be at least 21 years of age at time of employment Must be a U.S. citizen Must possess a high school diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license Must meet Oregon DPSST certification eligibility requirements Must successfully complete required testing, background investigation, medical, physical, and psychological evaluations Applicants should review the full qualification requirements through Public Safety Testing prior to applying.
