Mainframe Developer

As a Mainframe Developer you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards .

Responsibilities:

Senior Mainframe Developer with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and batch processing, along with experience working in large-scale healthcare or insurance environments.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and related technologies.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Develop and execute unit and integration testing for new enhancements and bug fixes.

Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.

Support application modernization and integration initiatives involving distributed systems. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment plans

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
