Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Rheumatologist to work in a Level II Trauma Center serving as the tertiary referral center for people statewide. This unique opportunity offers a diverse patient population, a breathtaking geographical setting, and a cohesive medical team.
Location: Anchorage, AK
Responsibilities:
• Manage outpatients in clinic (8-14 patients per day)
• Handle adult inpatient consults
• Perform joint injections and joint aspirations
• Conduct bedside MSK ultrasound when available
• Participate in six field clinics per year to other regions of Alaska
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications & Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experienced in managing both outpatient and inpatient cases
• Skilled in performing joint injections, joint aspirations, and bedside MSK ultrasound
• Culturally sensitive and adaptable to working with diverse populations
• Willing to travel for field clinics in other regions of Alaska
