Structural Engineer | Engineer in Training (EIT)

Join a collaborative structural engineering team where you'll gain hands-on experience designing commercial and institutional buildings while working alongside experienced Professional Engineers. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to build technical expertise, contribute to impactful projects, and develop toward PE licensure.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the structural design and analysis of building projects under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers.
Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Support the development of structural plans using AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery.
Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction administration activities.
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE Exam (or actively pursuing certification).
0–3 years of structural engineering experience (internships and co-op experience are welcome).
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a desire to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.

This position provides mentorship from experienced engineers, exposure to a wide variety of structural projects, and a clear path for professional development and future PE licensure.
