What You’ll Do Diagnose malfunctions on equipment and perform repairs Operate mobile equipment such as loaders, forklifts, trucks, material handlers and other equipment to troubleshoot Ensure all jobs are completed in a proficient and safe manner while wearing Personal Protective Equipment Inspect vehicles for safety or operational defects using DOT maintenance and safety checklists and ensure emergency equipment is in proper working order Comply with DOT and state inspection requirements Complete DOT manifests and paperwork Maintain trailers including electrical, tire changing and brakes What You’ll Need Must be able to perform minor repairs and routine tasks efficiently, correctly, and safely Must keep a clean and safe work area and comply with all plant rules, procedures, and duties Minimum 2 years previous DOT experience No on-road preventable accidents in the past 3 years (as shown on the Motor Vehicle Road MVR) Electrical troubleshooting and installation skills Brake certification Valid CDL with clean MVR is a plus Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Equal Employment Opportunity CMC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, citizenship, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, or other status protected by federal, state or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
