Talent Corps is seeking experienced Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join a high-profile Commercial Data Center Project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa .

Pay: $65/hour
Per Diem: $175 per day worked
Sign-On Bonus: $7,500
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

What You'll Be Doing

• Install conduit, wiring, and cable tray systems
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and layouts
• Determine conduit paths, support locations, and required clearances
• Use laser levels and chalk lines to accurately measure and mark layouts
• Install anchors, hangers, and electrical supports
• Drill and secure ATRs or install beam clamps based on the structure type
• Mount and secure strut channels and cable trays using bolts, clamps, and other approved hardware
• Follow all electrical, safety, and project requirements

License Requirements

A valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician License is preferred. However, candidates who hold a current and valid Journeyman Electrician license from one of the following states may also be considered:

• Alaska
• Arkansas
• Colorado
• Minnesota
• Montana
• Nebraska
• New Hampshire
• North Dakota
• Oklahoma
• South Dakota
• Texas
• Wisconsin
• Wyoming

Out-of-State License Requirements:

• License must currently be valid and in good standing.
• License must have been obtained through testing.
• License must have been held for at least 365 days .
• Candidates must provide proof of their current license for verification.
• Candidates with an eligible out-of-state license must agree to meet with HEI on Day One of onboarding and apply for an Iowa Journeyman Electrician License through reciprocity .

What You Need

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License meeting the requirements above
• 7+ years of experience in the electrical field
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 , completed within the last 3 years
• Commercial electrical experience preferred
• Data center experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Must have your own tools and PPE
