Systems TechnicianNesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Systems Technician to join a leading precision optics manufacturer in West Henrietta, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, optics, photonics, or coating experience who enjoy working in a cleanroom environment. The Coating Technician will support the application of thin-film coatings to precision optical components while ensuring exceptional product quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00/Hour + 10% Shift DifferentialShift(s): B Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMJob Duties:Operate vacuum coating equipment to apply thin-film coatings to lenses, prisms, and other optical componentsMeet daily production goals while maintaining quality and productivity standardsInspect coated components and identify quality concerns or non-conforming materialsTag and document non-conforming products for Quality inspectionLearn and perform basic vacuum chamber maintenance and preventative cleaningOperate manual coating platforms and related manufacturing equipmentUtilize production tracking and testing software to document manufacturing activitiesCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issuesEscalate production, safety, or quality concerns to leadership promptlyMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant cleanroom work environmentFollow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirementsSupport additional production activities as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or GED required1–2 years of optical coating experience or 2+ years of experience in optics, photonics, or precision manufacturing preferredBasic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing softwareStrong mechanical and technical aptitudeExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with consistencyExcellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationAbility to read and follow written work instructionsWillingness to work scheduled overtime as production demands requireMust be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated manufacturing environmentPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Cleanroom manufacturing environment supporting precision optical productionFrequent standing or sitting for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 45 lbs. occasionallyFrequent repetitive hand movements requiring fine manual dexterityExposure to vacuum coating equipment and precision manufacturing processesMust maintain strict cleanliness standards and follow all PPE and safety requirementsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
