What You'll Do

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and formulate treatment plans for behavioral health patients
• Prescribe pharmacological treatments and non-pharmacological therapies
• Monitor, review, and interpret lab work and diagnostic reports
• Educate patients about medication management and treatment options
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Serve as a resource and advocate for clients, promoting best practices and standards

What You Need

• Active Iowa RN license and ARNP licensure
• Certification as a clinical nurse specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience (preferred)
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of mental health laws, managed care concepts, and psychotropic medications
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
