Summary:

**Experience and Specialty Requirements:** - Must have 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. Preferable to be within one location but can be combined. - Must have 18 months of recent Pediatric experience - travel experience will suffice. - Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care of all ages up to 25 years. **Licensure:** - Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts 1/1/23 and forward. **Certifications:** - AHA or American Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) & PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required. - NIHHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) preferred. **Assessments:** - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required. - Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled. **References and Compliance:** - Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. No co-worker references; these will not be considered. - References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Background hits of any kind are reviewed, but the facility will not accept any traveler with an open case. - Facility does not accept any license hits. **Additional Compliance:** - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually. - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. **Other Requirements:** - Effective 9/30/22, exemption for Nicotine Free Facility Requirements is temporary and will be honored until further notice. - Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.
