Registered Nurse - RN - Evening Shift

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We have an opening for a Registered Nurse - RN.

Hourly Pay range = $48.18/hr to $59.09/hr based on experience plus addl. 10% for shift differential.

Evening Shift (3pm to 11pm): Full and Part-Time (5, 4 and 3 days/week).

Registered Nurse RN Qualifications:

• NY RN - Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in a Long-Term Care or a new graduate with clinical experience in Long-Term Care.
• English language required.

Registered Nurse RN Job Summary:

• Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units.
• Regular rounding on nursing units.
• Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers.
• Assure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and on-going supervision.
• Consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents.
• Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
• Assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse.
• Prepare/administer performance reviews for shift staff in consultation with unit managers.
