Restoration Technician

Overview Rainbow Restoration is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our team. We specialize in fire, mold, and water restoration and more. We are looking for someone who can learn, communicate well, has a strong work ethic, and is reliable. Compensation Compensation: $18.00-$22.00 per hour. Health benefits, retirement, paid time off, and paid major holidays. Willingness to grow is a must, as this position could lead to a supervisor position within our company. Responsibilities Respond to jobs and initiate water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation according to IICRC and Rainbow International standards in a timely manner. Set up professional drying equipment properly. Monitor drying conditions in the air and within building materials. Perform detailed cleaning and structural demolition as needed. Be part of a team. Accurate documentation. Packing out of personal items and cleaning of items and structures. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and transportation required. Must pass criminal background. Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.). Effective oral communication with basic math and computer skills. Knowledge of technology (taking photos, iPad and navigating apps). Professional appearance and attitude is required. Since we are a 24 hour emergency service company, technician must be willing and able to work a rotating on-call schedule for nights and weekends. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Effective oral communication within the company and with customers. No experience is required, but IICRC certification is a plus.
