Physical Demands Perform standing and walking tasks from a standing position; delivery personnel must travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer’s location. Lifting: cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; bulk items such as pizza sauce (30 pounds) and trays of pizza dough (≈12 pounds per tray, three at a time). Lift from floor and stack onto shelves up to 72 inches high. Bending and reaching: forward bending at the waist necessary at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients; reaching continuously (up, down, forward) and occasionally above 72 inches; occasional crouch or squat to stock shelves and clean low areas. Other activities: infrequently navigating stairs or climbing a ladder for maintenance; pushing and pulling trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
