Our technicians work across multiple major outboard brands, with opportunities for continued OEM training and certifications, including Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda.If you're an experienced technician who can diagnose problems—not just replace parts—we want to talk to you.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGDiagnose. Repair. Rig. Deliver.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, steering, and related marine systemsTroubleshoot and repair outboard engines using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and proceduresPerform routine maintenance through advanced engine repairs and rebuilds based on experience levelRig new and pre-owned boats for customer deliveryInstall outboards, electronics, accessories, controls, and other OEM or aftermarket equipmentPerform compression tests, diagnostic scans, electrical troubleshooting, and other technical evaluationsConduct safety inspections and identify recommended repairs or maintenancePerform water and lake testing when required to diagnose or verify repairsAccurately document technician findings, repairs performed, parts used, and additional recommendationsMaintain high workmanship standards and minimize comebacks by completing repairs correctly the first timeMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentREQUIREMENTS5+ years of professional marine technician experience preferred for A-Tech and Master-level considerationStrong outboard diagnostic and repair experienceAdvanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityExperience with Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, or other major marine engine manufacturers preferredAbility to independently diagnose and complete repairsExperience with engine rigging, repowers, and accessory installation preferredOEM certifications are strongly preferred but not required for all qualified candidatesValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to work full-time on-site in Lake Placid, FloridaWillingness to complete required pre-employment screeningCOMPENSATION & RELOCATIONCompetitive technician compensation based on experience, certifications, and skill levelA-Tech and Master-level technicians have the opportunity to earn $100,000+Up to $10,000 in combined signing bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidatesNationwide relocation assistance availableContinued OEM training and certification opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offEmployee discountsCareer advancement opportunities within Boater's World Marine Centers and Outdoor Network
