Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school-based therapy program. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services, assist with treatment implementation, and support student progress.

This is a great opportunity for a clinician looking for a part-time school-based role with consistent scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP

• Support students in developing communication and language skills

• Complete documentation and progress tracking as required

• Collaborate with staff and support teams to ensure effective service delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork (or state equivalent)

• Active SLPA license or certification in the state of practice

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices

• TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray if applicable)

• Current health certificate (if required)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation

• $40/hour (Local Rate)
