Embark on a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. With five immediate openings—four at the elementary level and one at the middle school—these positions offer an impactful way to make a difference in students’ lives near Philadelphia, PA.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; eligibility for emergency teaching permit.
• Active certification/licensure appropriate for role and caseload.
• Ability to secure all Pennsylvania clearances prior to start.
• Demonstrated mastery of special education subject matter and instructional best practices.
• Previous experience working in schools, preferably within urban settings.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management capabilities.
• Reliable transportation; must be punctual and able to work onsite between 8:30AM-4PM.
• Comfortable adhering to school/district policies and expectations.
• Flexible teaching style for differentiated instruction and formative assessments.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards.
• Utilize a variety of resources and assessments to meet student needs.
• Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive, safe learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and leadership.
• Contribute to IEP development and ensure compliance with all legal and educational requirements.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.

Additional Details:

• Contract dates: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027.
• 35 hours per week; no adjustments to the standard work hours.
• All positions are fully onsite and require a Zoom interview.
