Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active MA RN license, BLS-AHA and NRP certification, with 3-5+ years of experience preferred.

Details

• Obstetrics Delivery unit providing full scope perinatal care in collaboration with an affiliated medical center
• Includes prenatal evaluation, intrapartum care for labor and birth, intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries, postpartum care, and couplet dyad care for well babies
• Provides special care for premature newborns and those requiring a higher level of care
• 12-hour night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• 3-5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Comfortability working in the OR preferred
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine plus booster required, with medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation provided
• Must be separated from the health system for 6+ months (perm, per diem, or contract) to be eligible for consideration
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius unless applying as a local candidate
