WHAT WE'RE DOING The Software Quality Analyst will develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, and documentation that meet customer, regulatory, and corporate standards for both make‑and‑buy‑item software. THE WORK Managing a centralized database of quality data, collecting and analyzing key software metrics, and presenting trend analyses and corrective‑action recommendations to the Corrective Action Board and senior leadership. Conducting internal software process audits, overseeing peer‑review metric management, and participating in functional qualification testing, ensuring test results are captured and fed back into continuous‑improvement cycles. Witnessing software builds, verifying media integrity, and collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, supply‑chain, and customer teams to resolve quality issues, develop dispositions, and implement corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined AS9100 Knowledge/Experience Experience with verification and validation processes Auditing Experience Data Analytics and/or Quality Engineering Experience Must be able to possess Secret Security Clearance Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to obtain a security clearance Desired Skills Tableau experience or similar data analytics tools Software Engineering / Software Quality experience Defect trending experience using Excel, PivotTables, Dashboards, Root Cause Analysis (e.g. 5Why, Ishikawa Diagrams, Flow Charts, Pareto Analysis). Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Audit experience (AS9100, ISO9001) Experience with development, production, and sustainment contracts. Secret Security Clearance Job Details Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour five‑day week to condensed schedules that offer additional time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 – $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills and market and business considerations when extending an offer.
