About the Position

Job Title: RRT NICU Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7P - 7A Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care NICU RRT hospital experience License: RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Level III NICU experience; PEDS experience Description: This is a travel position for an RRT in the NICU. The Respiratory Care Department handles care for both adult and pediatric patients. Candidates will work with advanced equipment such as G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30, specific to the patient population. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include airway management, ventilator management, and emergency department support. Communication with staff and providers is essential, and patient care experience is a priority.
