Responsibilities: Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, ABG analysis, and EKGs Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans Respond to emergency codes and provide critical care respiratory support Accurately document all patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system Requirements: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license Minimum 1-2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, and critical care protocols Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems About Us: MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is a trusted healthcare staffing partner dedicated to connecting skilled clinical professionals with top-tier medical facilities across the country.
