Registered Nurse LTC/SNF

Call for Salary Rate -

Job Summary:

The RN provides direct and indirect nursing care to residents in various units, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and home-like environment. They collaborate with care teams to address each residents individual needs, utilizing communication and clinical skills to enhance recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents across multiple units, including long-term, rehabilitation, and specialized dementia care.
  
  
• 
  Assess residents conditions, monitor progress, and adapt care plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and other treatments per physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address concerns.
  
  
• 
  Float to different units as needed to support staffing and operational needs.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical observations, interventions, and resident responses accurately and in compliance with standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license for the State of Maine or a compact license.
  
  
• 
  Possess 1-3 years of prior RN experience, preferably in LTC/SNF settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology and geriatric care practices.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
  
  
• 
  Show flexibility in scheduling, including coverage of 24/7 shifts and floating between units.
