About Us
Daisies is a vegetable-focused Midwestern Italian restaurant and market dedicated to showcasing Midwestern ingredients. At our farmers market stands, we offer a selection of fresh pastas, house made sauces, and pastries.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, early-riser to represent Daisies at our Saturday farmers markets. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, loves food, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and break down the Daisies market booth, including tent, tables, and product displays
- Sell fresh pasta, sauces, pastries, and other provisions while providing excellent customer service
- Handle payments accurately through our point-of-sale system
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting booth throughout the market
- Restock product as needed and communicate low inventory
- Represent the Daisies brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and product knowledge
What We’re Looking For
- Must be available Saturdays from 5 AM to 3PM throughout market season
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to ~50 lbs, setting up tents, standing for long periods)
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Food-service or market experience a plus, but not required
- Interest in fresh pasta, pastries, and local food culture
