Cardiac Telemetry RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 36 hours per week, with hours from 18:45 to 07:15.

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in a post-cardiac surgery unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various cardiac conditions, ensuring effective management of critical care interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
• Provide care for post-operative cardiac patients, including CABG, AVR, and other cardiac surgeries.
• Manage cardiac drips and assess patient conditions.
• Perform sheath removal and care for chest tubes.
• Utilize non-invasive airway management techniques.
• Conduct assessments and respond to dysrhythmias.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor required.
• Traveler candidates must have more than 24 months of direct cardiac experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification is also required.
• Preferred skills include arterial line management and wound care.
