Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hematology Oncology Physician, you will practice in a multispeciality clinic in the family friendly community of Bonney Lake, WA. As part of our team, you will be dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. Bonney Lake (WA) offers the perfect place to work and live: easy commute to work, good schools, and access to the larger metro area when needed. Bonney Lake has become a premier city for families and community in the western Washington, Puget Sound and eastern Pierce County region. The region is a family-friendly and active community. Lake Tapps offers public access for swimming and boating activities; our forested areas are equipped with miles of trails for hiking and biking; our many parks are filled with sports, play areas, and community events throughout the year. Winter months allow for downhill skiing less than an hour away.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.


To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Hematology Oncologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with a wide variety of hematology and oncology diseases.
• Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in both Hematology and Oncology to provide evidence-based care.
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of cancer care and blood disorder issues.

We are offering a guaranteed starting salary followed by a wRVU model, a $50,000 starting bonus, and relocation assistance. Retirement plans include both 401(k) and 457(b).


Job Requirements

Required

• Medical Degree
• Board Certified Hematology and Oncology (ABIM)
• Desire to practice in a community setting and be part of an integrated health system
• Unrestricted Washington State Medical License prior to start date
• DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Authorized to work in the United States. Not a J-1 Visa eligible position.

Preferred

• 3 years of experience as a Hematology/Oncology Physician
