Retail Facilities Technician - OIN Facilities

Job Requirements

Starting Pay Range: $20.00 -$22.00 hourly

A Retail Facilities Technician ensures the store runs smoothly by handling electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting repairs. You'll perform inspections, fix issues quickly, and keep everything in top shape to create a safe, functional environment for both customers and staff.

Day Shift Available:

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 3:00pm

Your day-to-day as a Commercial Facilities Technician:

• Performing daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work orders for SavOn and Marina locations, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance on self-contained refrigeration units and food service equipment such as fryers, warmers and pizza ovens.
• Participating in remodeling projects which may require light carpentry, pressure washing, assembly of store fixtures, painting, minor electrical, and finish restoration.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Commercial Facilities Technician, you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years' experience in a similar maintenance position preferred.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry and construction.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
