Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex medical software development and stable, secure product platforms, driving efficiency and reliability across all our engineering operations.The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing and maintaining software for Linux-based systems, with deep expertise in Yocto Project build environments and embedded Linux development. They should have a strong understanding of Linux system architecture, device integration, and troubleshooting at both the application and platform levels. . Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain platform software and build infrastructureCreate and support Yocto-based Linux distributions for varied hardware targetsCreate CI/CD pipelines integrated with security and functionality automation toolsSupport secure networking, secure boot, and OS update mechanismsMaintain platform support for containerized applications using DockerCollaborate with product teams to define platform capabilitiesDevelop and document various aspects of the platform as required for regulatory approvalRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experienceExperience configuring and customizing LinuxExperience creating Yocto-based Linux distributionsHands-on experience with security principles and best practices, including secure boot, and software security hardening.
