Machine Operator – Plastics
Pay: $23/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:42 PM – 11:12 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines and automation equipment.
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs.
- Change out tooling and molds and clean dies.
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues.
- Monitor product quality, cycle times, material flow, and defects.
- Take product samples and complete production paperwork.
- Make material and color changes as needed.
- Perform mold and machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Work independently and follow safety and production standards.
Requirements
- Material handling/manufacturing experience.
- Plastics experience highly preferred, especially injection molding.
- Experience with machine setups and changeovers.
- Experience changing tooling/molds and cleaning dies.
