Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerBloomington, Indiana, United StatesPosition ID: P-754186Assignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-11-17$2,965.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring an IN or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience.DetailsHospital-based Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab settingAlso covers Interventional Radiology and Pre/Post Procedure areasPerforms cardiac cath lab procedures including left and right heart catheterization, PCI, and TAVRPerforms EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertionCerner charting system preferredDay shift, 4x10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pmOn-call requirement of roughly one evening per week and every 4th weekend with a 30-minute response timeFloating required to other departments within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitalsRequirementsActive IN or compact RN license required in hand prior to startCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience requiredSkills required include IV therapy, central line insertion/management, implanted port care, and vascular studies/proceduresCirculating and scrubbing procedure experience requiredProcedural sedation administration/monitoring experience requiredNursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation2 supervisor references requiredSSN and DOB required for considerationAdditional InformationResponsibilities include assisting with and performing complex cardiac and EP procedures, medication administration, and patient monitoring during proceduresFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyMust work 2 of 3 major holidaysUp to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be auto-approved; additional RTO requires facility approvalLocal candidates residing within Indiana are accepted; local rate applies for eligible local travelersAny current or former IU Health perm/PRN employee must wait 12 months before applying as a travelerTravelers with 12 months of accrued travel employment within IU Health must take a designated break to reset eligibility (3 months for out-of-state residents, 6 months for in-state residents)Hours per week: 40Hours per shift: 10
